1. Who is responsible for this site

CryptoNova is built and run by a small, community-driven team of four. It is not a registered company and holds no business licence — obtaining one is something the team intends to pursue, and we will say so here when it happens rather than implying it now. There is no investor group and no outside staff. Enquiries from regulators, security vendors or wallet providers are answered directly and in full.

2. What the blockchain records — and why we cannot change it

CryptoNova is a front end for smart contracts deployed on Base (currently the Base Sepolia testnet). When you register, upgrade, withdraw or refer someone, that action is written to the blockchain by your own wallet, not by this website. What ends up on chain includes:

• your wallet address;
• every transaction you sign, with its amount and timestamp;
• the wallet address of the person who referred you, and of the people you refer.

This information is public, permanent, and outside anyone's control — including ours. It can be read by anybody using a block explorer. Nobody, including us, can edit or erase it. If that is not acceptable to you, do not connect a wallet.

A wallet address is not your name, but it is a persistent identifier. If you publish your address elsewhere, or fund it from an exchange account in your name, it can be linked back to you. Using a fresh wallet is the practical way to keep that separation.

3. What this website itself receives

This is the complete list. Each item says what is collected, why, and where it goes.

• Your wallet address, when you connect. Used inside your browser to read your position from the contracts. It is not sent to any server of ours and it is not stored on a server.
• Testnet faucet and gas gift. If you claim test USDC or a small amount of test ETH, the address you give is held briefly in the server's memory so the same wallet cannot claim twice. It is not written to any database and it is lost whenever the function restarts.
• Bug reports. The reporter name or handle you choose, the page, your wallet type, your wallet address if you provide it, and your description. ⚠️ These are published in a public file in the project's public GitHub repository so members can see what has been reported and fixed, and a copy is sent to a private admin channel on Telegram. Do not put anything private in that form.
• Pay It Forward waitlist. The wallet address and any name, reason or contact detail you type. ⚠️ Also published in a public file in the same public repository, because the waitlist is meant to be visible to the members who fund the gifts. The coupon code itself is never sent to us.
• Error reports. When something breaks, the page path and the error message are sent to a private admin Telegram channel so it can be fixed. No wallet address and no personal detail is attached.
• Early-access code. If you enter a preview access code, it is checked against a list and the answer is yes or no. The code is not stored against you.
• Telegram bot. If you message the CryptoNova support bot, Telegram delivers your message and your Telegram username to it in the normal way.

We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, identity documents, or payment card details, and there is nothing to collect them with — the site has no sign-up, no login and no checkout.

4. Cookies, tracking and what stays on your device

There are no advertising cookies, no analytics scripts and no tracking pixels on this site. Nothing here profiles you or follows you to other websites.

The site does use your browser's own local storage to remember small preferences and to avoid re-reading the blockchain unnecessarily — for example your light/dark theme, your chosen language, whether a wallet was connected, whether a preview code was accepted, and short-lived cached figures such as prices and rotation counts. All of it stays on your own device, is never transmitted to us, and disappears when you clear your browser data for this site.

5. Other companies necessarily involved

Loading this page or using the protocol means these third parties handle a request. They each have their own privacy terms, which we do not control.

• Vercel hosts the website. Like any web host it records standard server request logs, which include IP addresses.
• A Base RPC endpoint is contacted to read blockchain data, and will see the requests your browser makes.
• Your wallet provider (MetaMask, Rabby, Trust, Coinbase Wallet and so on) handles your keys and your signing. We never see your private key or seed phrase, and we will never ask for either.
• GitHub stores the public files that bug reports and the waitlist are written to.
• Telegram carries the admin notifications and the support bot.

We do not sell, rent or trade anything to anybody, and there is no advertising on this site.

6. How long things are kept

• On-chain records: forever. This cannot be undone by us or by anyone.
• Bug reports and waitlist entries: kept while the project runs, as a public record of what was reported and fixed.
• Faucet and gas-gift addresses: held in memory only, and lost on the next restart.
• Admin Telegram notifications: kept in that private channel's history.
• Local storage on your device: until you clear it.

7. Your choices, and the honest limits

• You can simply not connect. All public pages — this one, the terms, the compensation plan, the FAQ — are readable without a wallet.
• Use a wallet you are comfortable being public. That is the single most effective privacy step available on any blockchain application.
• Ask us to remove something you submitted. Email cryptocounsels@gmail.com and we will take a bug report or waitlist entry out of the current public file.
• ⚠️ But we cannot make it as if it never existed. Those files live in public version control, so earlier versions remain in the history, and anything already on the blockchain is permanent. We would rather tell you that than promise a deletion we cannot deliver.

8. Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and the Terms require you to be at least 18 to take part. We do not knowingly collect anything from a child.

9. Security

Because there are no accounts and no stored personal records, there is no customer database to breach. The one thing that genuinely protects you is your wallet: your seed phrase and private keys are yours alone. No one from CryptoNova will ever ask for them, in any channel, for any reason. Anybody who does is trying to rob you.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it, and material changes will be announced in the community channels. This is a testnet system under active development, so the practices described here may be revised before mainnet.
