How Governance Works

Hold CNOVA

Your vote weight equals your CNOVA balance at the time you vote. No staking, no lockup.

Propose

Any holder of at least 0.01% of CNOVA supply can submit a param-change proposal. Only allowlisted values are accepted. If the DAO has set a proposal fee, it is burned when you submit (the fee itself is DAO-votable, down to 0). Voting is always free.

Vote — 72 Hours

For or Against. Quorum = 2% of supply. Simple majority (>50% of votes cast) to pass.

Timelock — 48 Hours

Passed proposals enter a 48-hour timelock before anyone can execute. Community can review and respond.

Execute

After timelock, anyone can call execute. The parameter changes on-chain immediately. Expires if uncalled in 72h.
